The 2022 Fujian and Taiwan Youth's Study Tour for Zhu Zi Culture launched on 10th October at Wufu Town, Wuyishan City. Sponsored by Fujian Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, the tour had members of 40 more young people from Fujian's universities. Mr. Xiao Changpei, a deputy director of the department, attended and addressed the opening ceremony of the tour, at which traditional art performances were put on.
Wuyishan is the origin of Zhu Zi's Neo-Confucianism and Youxi County is Zhu Zi's birthplace. The tour members visited the 2 places: touring Zhu Zi Culture Garden, Experience Hall of Zhu Zi's Intangible Culture, his residence site and memorial hall. They studied his instruction and rock inscriptions of Neo-Confucianism and learned about etiquette of his family.
