"Reflecting History", a copper mirror exhibition held by Fujian Folk Museum and Changsu Folk Museum in late August, housed 46 sets ancient mirrors whose ages ranked from the 5th century B.C. to the 19th century. China is home to copper mirror. The earliest copper mirror was excavated in Qijia Cultural Site of Gangsu Province that dated back 4000 years ago. Cooper mirror was not used in China until the 19th century. Besides mirroring, ancient Chinese used them to decorate rooms, to repel devil and to symbolize love.  The exhibition will last to 16th September.
