Fujian Delegation Visited Tatarstan for Pilot Tour

At the invitation of Mr. Ivanov, the President of the State Committee on Tourism of The Republic of Tatarstan, who visited Fujian in November, 2018 to promote tourism of Tatarstan and to boost exchange and cooperation on tourism between Tatarstan and Fujian, Fujian Delegation for Tatarstan culture and tourism, organized by Fujian Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, did a 5-day pilot tour in Tatarstan from 15th to 20th July, 2019. 
Tatarstan is a republic of the Russian Federation, located in the Volga Federal District. The year of 2019 marked the 70 anniversary of China and Russia diplomatic relations that were upgraded to comprehensive strategic partnership of coordination. The 2 nations kept intensification of exchange and cooperation on tourism. Fujian Delegation for Tatarstan culture and tourism comprised 10 persons from Fujian's travel agents and media. Attaching much importance to the visit of the delegation, the State Committee on Tourism did an elaborate arrangement for the route. The delegation visited Kazan (the capital of Tatarstan), Bolgary and Sviyazhsk Island  and on the last day had an exchange meeting with the president of the State Committee on Tourism and his colleagues, in which Chinese Consulate in Kazan participated. 
On 14th July, the delegation flew from Fuzhou to Kazan.
On 15th July, the delegation visited Kazan's Kremlin Palace(World Cultural Heritage Site) and Kazan Federal University where Lenin ever studied. They viewed Tatarstan national attires and performance and attended its national banquet.
On 16th July, they visited Lenin's Museum in Kazan and afterwards headed to Bolgary (World Cultural Heritage Site)  to view its ancient buildings.
On 17th July, they visited Kazan Arena where 6 matches of 2018 Russia World Cup were held and Kazan Family Center which is a wok-shape building, working as registration office of marriage. 
On 18th July, they went to the town of Sviyazhsk Island and relished local delicacies. 
On 19th July, they visited the office of the State Committee on Tourism and had an exchange meeting, in which the president and members of the committee, local travel agents and Chinese Consulate in Kazan participated. Mr. Chen Wei, deputy consul of the consulate welcomed compatriots warmly. He said that Kazan boasts riches of culture and history and hoped that the delegation would introduced Kazan to Fujian's people. President Ivanov gave warm welcome to the delegation. He said that Tatarstan had established cooperation with Fujian and expected the delegation to publicize Kazan, the most beautiful city in Russia. 
On 20th July, the delegation flew back.
